Community Guidelines

The principles that make CrownLane a gathering worth being part of.

Our Community Philosophy

CrownLane is built on the belief that great social gaming depends on the quality of the people involved as much as the quality of the games themselves. These guidelines exist not as a list of prohibitions, but as a reflection of the kind of gathering we all want to be part of.

By using CrownLane, you agree to uphold these standards in all interactions — in game chat, discussion boards, feedback forms, and any other community touchpoints.

1. Respect Every Player

CrownLane welcomes players of all backgrounds, skill levels, and playing styles. You may disagree with someone's strategy, but personal attacks, derogatory language, or discriminatory remarks of any kind are strictly prohibited.

This includes — but is not limited to — comments about a person's nationality, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other personal characteristic.

2. Play With Integrity

Our games are designed to be fair for everyone. Attempting to exploit bugs, circumvent game logic, or use automated tools to influence outcomes degrades the experience for every other player and goes against the spirit of the gathering.

If you discover a technical issue that could be exploited, please report it through our Help Center so we can address it promptly.

3. Keep Communication Constructive

Sharing strategy, offering tips, and celebrating great hands are all welcome. What is not welcome: unsolicited criticism, name-calling, spamming, or any communications designed to intimidate or frustrate other players.

Constructive disagreement is fine. Hostility is not.

4. Protect Your Own Wellbeing

Even in a no-stakes, virtual environment, we encourage all players to be mindful of how long they've been playing and how they're feeling. If gaming starts to feel stressful rather than enjoyable, it may be time for a break.

Our Responsible Gaming page has resources and direct links to professional support.

5. Report Concerns Promptly

If you witness behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it. CrownLane is only as good as the people within it, and reporting concerns is a form of community care — not a conflict.

Repeated or severe violations will result in restriction or removal from the platform.

Enforcement

The CrownLane moderation team reviews all reports. Actions taken may include a warning, temporary restriction of community features, or permanent removal depending on the severity and frequency of the behaviour. We will always aim to be fair and transparent in our enforcement decisions.
